Alpha Course 2010
We are having an Alpha Course in 2010 - and we'd love you to come. It runs every Tuesday from 2nd February to 30th March here at St. Peter's. It starts with an Alpha Taster which will give a flavour of what Alpha's all about. Each session will include a meal, a chance to chat, a DVD and an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. It will cost you nothing - but it would be helpful to know if you plan to come along. Take a flyer from the back of church, complete the form and post through the door at the Vicarage, 12, New Street.

Church Book Group
We will be looking at the book "The Heart of Christianity" by Marcus Burg. Copies are available on the church book stall. This book, whose subtitle is "Rediscovering a life of faith", is an attempt to answer the question "What does it mean to be a Christian today?"
READ THE BOOK AND COME AND JOIN IN THE DISCUSSION!!
Christian Aid Lunch
The lunches take place on every Thursday in Lent. Homemade soup with bread and cheese will be served. There will also be a Traidcraft stall. Everyone is welcome to come and all donations will be sent to Christian Aid.
