A very warm welcome to the Oundle Deanery website. Following the recent re-organisation of parishes within the Diocese, we extend a special welcome to those parishes which are now part of our Deanery family.
The aim of this website is to provide a hub around which communication between all parts of the Deanery can take place. Information can be shared and greater dialogue can be achieved as we grow the Kingdom of God.
A key feature of this website is that many people are involved in its construction and maintenance. Its success depends upon the input of these volunteers at local, parish level. For information on individual parishes, please click on the appropriate link in the left sidebar or in the list along the bottom of the page. For Deanery Information, please click on one of the links in the right sidebar.
The Rural Deanery of Oundle is part of the Archdeaconry of Oakham within the Diocese of Peterborough. Our Rural Dean is Richard Ormston (pictured left).
On this site you will find information on each of our 34 parishes within the Deanery including details of their church services, local events and many other appropriate links.
The people of the Deanery come together for Evensong at 6pm on the fifth Sundays of the month. For details of the Deanery Services and Deanery Synod meetings in 2013 click here. The seven Benefices in the Oundle Deanery are listed below.
