Carol Singing around Bulwick
On Thursday 22nd December a jovial group of carollers trudged around Bulwick singing carols and collecting for the Lakelands Hospice in Corby. This is an annual event and the aim is to bring good cheer to all who are willing to listen and collect money for a charitable cause. The sum raised for the Lakelands was a staggering £200 in just over an hour. That is the most the carollers have ever raised and the Lakelands Hospice has acknowledged the donation with grateful thanks. I would like to thank all who turned up on the night - you all did a marvellous job and let us hope we can achieve the same later this year. Well done everybody.

Twiglets, a group for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers with their carers, has changed day and now meets in King’s Cliffe Parish Church on Wednesdays from 2.00 -3.15pm.

Monthly Coffee Morning
We started the new year with our Church coffee morning at the home of Sue and Richard Trow-Smith. The event was very well attended, with old and new faces happy to be able to catch up with our news and conversation. Our warm thanks to Sue and Richard for their welcoming hospitality, and a record £126.20p which will go to Church funds. Thank you also to all who supported this event.

St Nicholas Supper
On Saturday 3rd December the annual St Nicholas Supper was held in the Village Centre. A lively gathering enjoyed a superb supper and all who attended had a good time. A profit of £191.46 was raised for Village Centre and Church funds. A raffle complimented the evening, and although St Nicholas was unable to attend that evening due to transport difficulties with Rudolph being unwell, the children attending the supper all received a small gift which had been left for them in St Nicholas church. The Christingle service held on Sunday 4th December was very well attended. Many thanks to all who helped with both these events.
