St Michael’s Church, Great Gidding

The organ, built by Denman of York (in two stages in the latter part of the 19th century), is generally adjudged to be a fine small instrument. Further work is in progress to achieve what might be termed "the completion" of the instrument.

On Friday 19th May 2017, José Hopkins (Ely Diocesan Organ Advisor) will give a short talk about the organ builder, Denman of York. Afterwards, Stephen Barber (King's Cliffe Parish Church) will give a 50 minute recital to display the work done.

The evening starts at 7.30pm and admission will be free. There will be a retiring collection and light refreshments will be available. For further details telephone 01832/293357.
