The Band is the group at St Peter’s for school years 7 to 9.  We meet during the morning service and also have regular socials. 

Our last social was a ‘Safari Supper’ round various houses in Oundle.  We are planning to tackle a high ropes course (leaders too!) on Saturday 16^th April and are planning a ‘Band on Tour’ weekend away in the autumn.

This term we are doing a series looking at the story of Daniel.

When the heat is on, what really matters?

When it comes to the crunch, what will you do?

 These were questions Daniel and friends (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) had to face again and again.  They were under pressure to conform to the alien culture around them.  Like Christians in some schools today, they were faced with a different values system: there were loads of opportunities, but huge dangers.

 What really mattered to Daniel and the gang?  What would they compromise on?  Where would they refuse to budge? 

 These are some of the questions we’ll be looking at in the weeks running up to Easter.
