MISSION SUPPORT

St. Peter's church supports several international, national and local missions. Each month we focus on one (or more) of the missions during our prayers at the 10:30 Parish Communion service.We give 12.5% of our pledged Stewardship income to mission projects, approximately £10,000 per year. The majority of this (10%) is split between the missions listed in the grid.

Three of our young people are going abroad in the summer to work on very different projects. Alice McMurdo is going to Kenya to help build a school in the Kibera slums in Nairobi, Grace McMurdo is going to Malawi to help rebuild a school and Tom Ormston is taking part in a rally, driving from England to Mongolia.
